Here is a classic'Rough & Cut' set of very rare Russian DEMANTOID GARNET. Demantoid garnet is the gem green variety of Andradite Garnet. Russia is well known for its demantoid garnets and Russian stones carry a hefty premium for their locality and horesetail inclusions.

This set consists of a piece of natural gemmy green demantoid garnet rough and a faceted demantoid garnet gemstone. The gemstone has nice color, is diamond cut, and has horsetail inclusion. This set will come in a 1 inch round gem jar to display it in. This is a wonderful addition to a rare gem and mineral collection- and the gem and crystal could be used in jewelry.
