OLIVE NEPHRITE / JADE with QUARTZ CRYSTALS 7.4 LBS WYOMING ROUGH CUT PIECES

Wyoming Honey Olive Nephrite / Jade with Quartz Crystals - 7.4 Pounds Size 6" x 5 1/8" x 4 1/4 thick. Found in the " Jade Fields " of central Wyoming over 40 years ago. Wyoming Nephrite from near Lander Wyoming has been written about in books and articles for years. Some have remarked that it is the finest Nephrite available for working with because of it's strong fibrous structure. Jades from all over the world have used Wyoming Nephrite as the standard to compare to. This is a new collection of Nephrite / Jade that I just acquired in February of 2018. These pieces are one of a kind finds and it is near impossible to find Nephrite in the field anymore. I have hunted Jade and Gold here in the fields of Wyoming for over 30 years, and Jade hunting is not easy anymore.

Now I hunt back yards, basements and barns for the best Wyoming Nephrite a man can find from old lost collections. I try to represent the most accurate color of each specimen as close to natural as possible with my photos and lighting. Photos have been taken both dry, and wet on the cut ends to enhance the internal colors of each specimen. If there are any photos that you would like reshot. This is a nice specimen of a Honey Olive Nephrite with Quartz Crystal inclusions and fractures. Light penetration varies up to 1/4 + This is a wonderful collectors specimen or it could produce a great piece of jewelry art. Only Wyoming Nephrite will contain Quartz Crystals.
