This fluorite crystal cluster is from Dal'negorsk in the Kavalerovo Mining District, Primorskiy Kray, Far Eastern Region, Russia. This area produces dozens of different mineral specimens for collectors and one of the most unique and wanted is the cuboctahedral fluorite from here. Normally the crystals are 1 1/2 inches or 40 mm in size or smaller however this piece is a museum worthy piece with water clear crystals measuring approximately 4 3/4 or 120 mm in size. They have a cuboctaheral morphology with complex prism faces and triangular growth patterns.The piece has naturally sheared surfaces on the bottom and at the base of one the crystals with some minor healing.
