Glass Shoes by Earlene Wheatley, Second Edition, collector's reference book, page 94. The solid crystal shoe bears facets to the heel, sides, and top, bursting from a center cabochon. Measures about 6.1 inches long and 2.5 inches high. Very good to excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. What started out as a summer job for 15-year-old Fred Curtis turned into a vocation, leading him to his position as Master Sculptor at the House of Waterford Crystal and worldwide ambassador for the venerable home of the World's most beloved crystal.
