Colombianite Tektite Natural from Colombia. 1 piece with a weight of 31.6 gram or 1.11 0z. The approximate size is: 3.5. Cm x 3.2 cm x 2.7 cm / 1.38" x 1.26" x 1.06. Location: Valle del Cauca - Colombia. Colombianite is a tektite similar to Moldavite, This grey-brown tektite was formed from a Meteorite impact that struck Colombia millions of years ago. There has been debate on whether this stone is a meteorite impact formed Tektite or a Volcanic formed Obsidian, but a USRA and NASA backed study has confirmed that Colombianite is in fact a tektite (Feel free to message me to see the article). Colombianite is considered to be a sacred stone by the Muisca tribes.

It is often called "Piedra Rayo" meaning Stone of Light. Metaphysically, it is said that the stones promote peace, understanding, compassion and love.
