Black Crystals Geode Septarian Statement Piece

  

I had a stand for this for a while, but ended up breaking the stand. This rock is really heavy and unfortunately doesn't stand druzy-side-up on its own.

I'll see if I can find some kind of stand for you to put it on, although that's not part of the listing. This is a very heavy rock, so you probably don't want to keep it on a glass shelf if you have a lot of other rocks on there.

The back of the "dragon egg" is smooth and beautifully polished, while the inside of it is just plain awesome. It's covered in pockets of black sugary druzy.

I don't know much about the science of rocks, so I don't know why the crystals are black, but they're super cool. Some parts are really sparkly, some just look velvety. That's just for size comparison.

I'm terrible at judging the size of rocks on the internet, so figure other people are too and the sharpie might help.
