Museum size Blue Topaz from the famous Xanda mine in Brasil. Size: 11.5 cm x 7.5 cm x 6.5 cm. The Xanda mine is one of the most prolific localities for blue Topaz in the world, and has produced some of the most impressive and memorable specimens with that distinctive preferential etching and larger sized crystals.

This specimen is a rather large Topaz from any locality, not just Brazil, and is in amazingly good condition for the size. Pre 1970 vintage but likely far older, these were at one time the worlds best natural, untreated blue topaz and few survived cutting.

There are only a handful of localities in the world that produce good blue Topaz crystals, and Brazil stands at the top of the list in terms of size, color and quality in my mind. A very fine natural blue Topaz specimen that is not priced at over 5 figures. If you would like to return the crystal please do so within 14 days of receiving the crystal. Item must be in its original packaging and the same received condition (no signs of wear, damage or alternation). The item "Blue Topaz museum piece" is in sale since Monday, July 8, 2019.
